SYMBIONIC Course 2005 on "Methods, Data Handling and Standards in Neuronal Systems Biology"

31 August - 3 September 2005, Trieste, Italy

Lectures and hands-on computer sessions will focus on methods to produce high- and medium-throughput experimental data, on tools to analyze and integrate the same data into models describing intracellular and membrane processes occurring in neurons, and on standardized ÒlanguagesÓ in which the data can be outputted or translated to make it more readable and exploitable by the scientific community. The course is targeted to graduate and post-graduate students and researchers from different backgrounds (e.g. neuroscience, cell biology, bioinformatics, computer science).
