POSTDOCTORAL POSITION, STANFORD UNIVERSITY
FUNCTIONAL IMAGING OF VISUAL PERCEPTION
A post-doctoral position is available immediately in the department of
psychology at Stanford University. Applications are invited for a
two-year position using fMRI to study the neural correlates of
high-level vision. Research areas include: object and face recognition,
scene perception, learning concepts and categories, visual pattern
discrimination, and visual working memory. Stanford University is home
to a large community of researchers in visual neuroscience. Research
facilities include two research-dedicated MRI scanners (3 Tesla and 1.5
Tesla).
Candidates should have a Ph.D. with research experience in visual
neuroscience, computational neuroscience, psychophysics, or MRI
physics/engineering.
Applicants with prior experience with fMRI and good quantitative skills,
including computer programming will have an advantage
Salary level will depend upon the applicant's experience, but will be no
less than $29,000 per year. Stanford University is an equal opportunity
