COMPUTATIONAL/COGNITIVE NEUROSCIENCE POSTDOCTORAL POSITION AVAILABLE
Center for Complex Systems & Brain Sciences
Florida Atlantic University

A postdoctoral position is open in the Center for Complex Systems & Brain
Sciences at Florida Atlantic University to participate in ongoing research
on the neural basis of attention in visuomotor processing. The aim of the
research is to understand the way in which variations of attention impact
visuomotor processing in the cerebral cortex. Our approach emphasizes the
development of state-of-the-art multivariate signal analysis techniques and
their application to cortical event-related potentials. The position will
involve close collaboration with Drs. Steven Bressler and Mingzhou Ding.

Required background:

-- Ph.D. degree
-- Experience with C and MATLAB programming
-- Knowledge of neurobiological signal processing and multivariate
statistics

Desired background:

-- Working knowledge in neurobiology
-- Knowledge of autoregressive time series modeling, matrix algebra,
   dynamical systems, and neural networks

This project is funded by research grants from the National Science
Foundation
