Postdoctoral Position in Computational Vision-- The Laboratory for
Intelligent Imaging and Neurocomputing (LIINC) has an immediate opening
for a two year position to conduct research in probabilistic models
which integrate concepts from biological vision for robust visual scene
analysis. A mathematical and computational background is desired,
particularly in computer vision, probabilistic modeling and
optimization. Previous work in computational neuroscience is preferred,
but not required. This position will be part of project investigating
biomimetic methods for analysis of literal and non-literal imagery.
Applicants should send a CV, three representative papers and the names
of three references to Prof. Paul Sajda, Department of Biomedical
Engineering, Columbia University, 530 W 120th Street, NY, NY 10027. Or
email to ps629@columbia.edu. Further information on LIINC can be found
at newton.bme.columbia.edu
