COMPUTATIONAL COGNITIVE NEUROSCIENCE
POSTDOCTORAL POSITION AVAILABLE
Center for Complex Systems & Brain Sciences
Florida Atlantic University

A postdoctoral position is open immediately in the Center for Complex
Systems & Brain Sciences at Florida Atlantic University to participate in
an ongoing research project studying the effects of attention on visuomotor
processing in the cerebral cortex. The project involves the application of
multivariate signal analysis techniques to cortical event-related
potentials.
It is under the supervision of Drs. Steven Bressler and Mingzhou Ding, and
is
funded by research grants from the National Science Foundation and the
National
Institute of Mental Health.

Required background:

-- Ph.D. degree in relevant discipline
-- Experience in C and MATLAB programming
-- Experience in neurobiological signal processing and multivariate
statistics

Desired background:

-- Working knowledge of visual and/or motor neuroscience
-- Knowledge of autoregressive time series modeling and matrix algebra
