The Intelligent Robotics research group of the
University of Aveiro is seeking PhD candidates
for its ongoing projects in the following areas:
 
   - human-robot interaction,
   - robot learning, and
   - multi-robot systems.
 
Candidates should be in one of the following conditions:
 
- have a Master degree on Electronics or Computer Science; or
- have a 5-year degree (equiv. to the Portuguese "licenciatura"
  degree) on Electronics or Computer Science; in this case,
  the candidate should have either a final grade equivalent
  to at least 16/20 or relevant professional curriculum;
 
Anyone interested should send, until *** 15 August 2002 ***,
his/her curriculum vitae to Prof. Luis Seabra Lopes (lsl@det.ua.pt).
 
Candidates with curricula considered relevant
for the ongoing projects of the Intelligent Robotics
group will subsequently be contacted in order to prepare
a formal application for a PhD scholarship to submit
to the University of Aveiro's Research Institute.
