Signal Processing Scientist
McMaster University invites applications for the position of Signal
Processing Scientist in the Department of Psychology. The candidate
will be expected to work with departmental brain imaging laboratories
in the development and implementation of signal processing tools for
EEG, MEG, and fMRI data, and to contribute an instructional role in
the graduate programme under the supervision of faculty. The
candidate should hold a PhD or MSc degree in a neuroscience field
(e.g. biomedical engineering, experimental psychology, or neural
computation) or present equivalent credentials from their work
history. The initial appointment will be made for a three-year term
with subsequent renewals contingent on budget approval. Salary will
be commensurate with qualifications and experience.

Imaging Laboratory Technician
McMaster University invites applications for the position of Imaging
Laboratory Technician in the Department of Psychology. The candidate
will be expected to be familiar with auditory and visual stimulus
generation equipment, to write computer programmes for implementation
of experiments on brain imaging, to assist in maintaining computer
networks and security, and to support an undergraduate laboratory
course in human electrophysiology under the supervision of faculty.
Previous experience with state of the art EEG systems, MEG, or fMRI
would be an asset. This is an entry-level position for a candidate
holding a bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., computer
science, engineering, experimental psychology, neuroscience) or with
equivalent work history. Initial appointment will be for a two-year
term with subsequent renewals contingent on budget approval.
Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and
experience.
