2003 EDINBURGH SUMMER SCHOOL IN NEUROINFORMATICS SIMULATION TOOLS

                        August 25th - 29th 2003.

The Edinburgh Summer School in Neuroinformatics Simulation Tools is a
five day intensive course which will provide a practical introduction
to using neuroscience simulation tools including NEURON, Catacomb and
Surf-Hippo for computational modeling of neural systems. The course
will be held at the new e-Science Institute in the centre of Edinburgh
and will include talks from invited speakers as well as practical hands-on
experience using the latest simulation tools.

Applications are now invited from PhD students, postdocs and faculty in
neuroscience and related disciplines wishing to learn how to apply
computational modeling techniques to their research problems. A number
of bursaries are available for UK and EU PhD students to cover travel
and accommodation costs.
