Postdoctoral Position in Computational / Theoretical Neuroscience

Center for Interdisciplinary Research on Complex Systems and Department of

Physics, Northeastern University, Boston, MA, invites applicants for a
postdoctoral
position in Computational / Theoretical Neuroscience to begin in the fall
of 2005.

The initial appointment will be made for one year with the possibility of
reappointment
for up to three years. Applicants should have PhD. in physics or related
quantitative
discipline, strong computational skills, and interest in interdisciplinary
research.
Background in Neuroscience is preferred. Initial research will be in the
area of
neurogeometry and synaptic connectivity, but it is expected that the
candidate will soon
develop independent line of research. Include CV, list of publications,
statement of
