Within the Bernstein Center for Computational Neuroscience Berlin
the following tenured faculty position (at Charité-University
Medicine Berlin) is available:
W2-Professorship for
"Theory and Analysis of Large-Scale Brain Signals"
A background in formal methods will enable the Professor to work on
the integrative analysis of brain signals recorded non-invasively,
such as EEG/MEG, and fMRI. Potential research foci are the transfer
of new analysis methods from the signal processing and machine learning
domains, and biophysical modelling. Experience in non-invasive
experimental techniques will be essential for the joint development
of large-scale brain models, experimental protocols and analysis tools.
The successful candidate for this position is expected to establish
a cooperative, innovative research program and have a strong commitment
to excellence in undergraduate and graduate teaching at the Charité
and the Bernstein Center.
