                     CALL FOR PARTICIPATION

          6th VIPS ADVANCED SCHOOL ON COMPUTER VISION,
            PATTERN RECOGNITION AND IMAGE PROCESSING

                       December 5-7, 2005
                         Verona, Italy

            The 6th Advanced School is supported by
  GIRPR, (Gruppo Italiano Ricercatori in Pattern Recognition)

This is the sixth course organized and sponsored by the Vision, Image
Processing and Sound (VIPS) Lab. of the Computer Science Dept.,
University of Verona. The course is residential and it spans a week, so
that people attending the course can install a more productive
interaction with the lecturers. More details will follow...

Course title:
     COMPUTER VISION TECNIQUES FOR PASSIVE 3D ACQUISITION

Lecturers:
     Prof. Luc VAN GOOL
        * Department of Information Technology and
          Electrical Engineering - ETH Zurich, Switzerland
     Ir. Maarten VERGAUWEN
        * Departement Elektrotechniek
          Katholieke Universiteit Leuven,
          Heverlee (Leuven), Belgium

Course program:
     * Introduction on 3D Techniques
     * Automatic Passive 3D Reconstruction
