There may be some post-doc positions available soon in the lab
of Barry Richmond (NIH, Bethesda, MD). He describes his work
as "analytical neurophysiology," and has done groundbreaking work
on the temporal modulation of spike trains ("temporal codes"),
using novel stimuli, applying principal components and
information-theoretic measures to extracting as much out
of spike trains as possible. He works with monkeys
and computers, in roughly equal amounts.

He can be contacted at bjr@ln.nimh.nih.gov. This posting is
a personal favor to him, and should not be construed as any
sort of official job announcement or employment offer.
With that proviso, enjoy!
