I am looking to recruit a postdoctoral fellow for my laboratory. The position
is available to study the microcircuitries of the hippocampus in vivo.
Intracellular activity of interneurons and principal cells and simultaneously
recorded extracellular units will be studied during various population
patterns (theta, gamma, sharp waves). The fellow will stongly interact with an
anatomist post-doc to reconstruct the whole axonal arbors of the
recorded/filled cells, determine the calcium binding protein/peptide content
and identify their targets. Experiments in awake behaving animals in the
laboratory are complimentary to this project. A strong background in
intracellular techniques is required.

Should you know of any suitable candidate who may be interested in such a
position I would appreciate if you could pass this information to them. Thank
you for you help. Hope some day I will be in a position to return your favor.
Best regards,
Sincerely yours,
