Molecular Neurobiology: molecular analysis of processes such as synaptic
transmission and neural integration.
Cellular/Synaptic Neurobiology: studies of the signal transmission at
synapses and/or of the control of neuronal excitability.
Systems Neurobiology: studies of multineuronal networks, from small
ensembles to circuitry underlying complex behavior.
Behavioral Neuroscience: studies of the neural basis of learning.
Outstanding applicants in other areas of behavioral neuroscience, especially
visual or cognitive neuroscience, will also be considered. This appointment
will be in the Department of Psychology. All appointees will teach at the
undergraduate, graduate and/or medical school levels in their areas of
expertise.
