POSTDOCTORAL POSITION
IN COMPUTATIONAL NEUROSCIENCE

Available in August 1996 for the study of hippocampal
information processing and storage. Projects include
compartmental modeling of hippocampal non-pyramidal
neurons, biophysical models of synaptic plasticity,
and the simulation of use-dependent changes within
large-scale networks of hippocampal neurons.
Applicants should have a Ph.D. and training in the
neurosciences. Most importantly a successful
applicatant will have a strong background in
neurophysiology. C programming experience in a UNIX
enviornment is required. A very competitive salary is
enhanced by the low-cost of living and attractive
lifestyle of the San Antonio area.
