A postdoctoral fellowship is available in my laboratory at Northwestern
University. We are studying the circuitry underlying the responses of
simple and complex cells in the primary visual cortex, using in vivo
intracellular recording. Our work is largely experimental, but we have a
strong interest in modeling and computational issues.
The ideal candidate has experience in visual neuroscience, in vitro
cellular physiology or computational vision. The position is not restricted
to US residents.
The Evanston Campus of Northwestern University, overlooking the shores of
Lake Michigan, is 25 minutes from downtown Chicago.
