HARVARD UNIVERSITY: The Department of Psychology invites applications for
an appointment at the assistant or associate professor level to begin July
1, 1997 in the area of behavioral neuroscience. Candidates with strong
research and teaching interests in the neuroscience of perception, motor
control, memory, communication or other cognitive functions should submit
a curriculum vitae and representative reprints to: Chair, Department of
Psychology, William James Hall, Harvard University, 33 Kirkland Street,
Cambridge, MA 02138. Candidates should ask three individuals familiar
with their work to send letters of recommendation directly to the chair of
the Search Committee. The closing date for applying has been extended to
November 15, 1996. Women and members of minority groups are especially
