Position: Postdoctoral Fellow (from 1/1/98)

A Postdoctoral Fellowship is available to work on the active and passive
properties of cortical pyramidal neurons in brain slices using patch-clamp
recording together with various imaging techniques. The main focus of the work
will be to further the understanding of how cortical pyramidal neurons
translate synaptic inputs into a neuronal output.
Appointment: two years with the possibility of extension to three years. The
appointment is funded externally by a Wellcome Trust grant.
