ELECTROPHYSIOLOGIST/COGNITIVE NEUROSCIENTIST
with an interest in Computational Neuroscience

The Babraham Institute, Cambridge, UK.

The Laboratories of Cognitive and Developmental Neuroscience, and
Computational Neuroscience are seeking to employ an experienced
postdoctoral scientist to utilise multi-array electrophysiological
recording techniques to investigate altered spatiotemporal coding of odour
cues during learning within the rodent olfactory bulb. The data will be
used to generate neural network models of olfactory processing, and as a
baseline for theoretical analysis of neural processing and coding of
sensory information. Candidates should ideally have experience in
electrophysiological recording techniques and cognitive neuroscience, and
an interest in computational neuroscience.

The post would initially be for a period of up to 5 years with a starting
salary between £19,000 and £26,400 depending on experience.
