Feature Grouping Mechanisms Query

Firstly, an apology in case this is not the kind of item that
normally goes out to the list.

I wish to model visual feature grouping processes, not using the
simplified neural processes that are typical of connectionist
schemes, but rather with much more realistic neurones. I wish to
use Genesis for the work. Is there anyone who subscribes working in
this area or know of anyone please?
