I'm not doing any modelling of this sort of thing these days,
but I am in the process of setting up some human experiments looking
at temporal properties of stimuli and binding - displays of points
oscillating temporally in luminance with a subset out of phase with
the rest. This is similar to the paradigm of Ute Leonards, Manfred
Fahle and Wolf Singer, except I'm using a scope and point-plotting
hardware to get down to millisecond resolution and comparing pointing
responses with button presses (a crude dorsal vs ventral stream
manipulation). If you're interested keep in touch and I'll let you
