A while ago we had a discussion about stimulus-driven vs.
intrinsic temporal correlations in neural responses.

Just got the most recent issue of Science, and there is a psychophysical
demonstration that is very suggestive of stimulus-driven spatiotemporal
fine structure in vision:

Lee S-H, Blake R, Visual form created solely from temporal structure,
Science 1999; 284: 1165-1168.

Their demo is at:

Check it out!
