The Neural Dynamics Laboratory at the Krasnow Institute for Advanced
Study at George Mason University (Fairfax, VA) seeks a research
assistant/laboratory technician for NIH sponsored research projects.
Our group (S. Schiff, B. Gluckman, P. So) applies a physics/nonlinear
dynamical systems approach to the study of the activity of neuronal
ensembles. Job responsibilities include experimental preparation and
operation, basic data analysis, as well as some laboratory and office
management. Prior experience with biological preparations and
familiarity with general experimental technique is preferred. Analysis
requires computer experience and familiarity with PC compatible systems
as well as some math and physics background. The ideal candidate will
have a BS in physics or biology and an interest in neurobiology.

Position is full time with a one year renewable appointment starting
this summer, and an annual salary of $20,800. Closing Date: July 5,
