POSTDOCTORAL FELLOW IN COMPUTATIONAL NEUROSCIENCE, RICE UNIVERSITY.
Information theory and coding in the nervous system.
The project concerns the development and application of statistical
techniques to measure and evaluate information processing in an
arthropod visual system. By studying this simple system, we want
to quantify how neural and motor systems process neural codes
to translate sensory information about the environment
into behavior. The fellow will work participate in recording and
analyzing data and in the theoretical and simulation studies. The
position is funded for 3 years.
