Neural simulation software.
Oct 2 - 4 2000
Organized by :
- Dr. Nigel Goddard
Computational modelling at the level of single neurones and networks of neurones is supported by extant and developing Problem Solving Environments. Advanced computing is needed for simulation of the largest models, visualisation of the models and underlying experimental data, and collaborative means of model building and testing.
This theme will bring together leading modellers and software developers to focus on these problems. Principal invitees will include Prof Erik De Schutter (Antwerp), Dr. Michael Hines (Yale) and Prof. William Levy (Virginia).
